As the Manager, Warehousing and Inventory, you’ll lead the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of all warehousing and inventory management services supporting EPCOR’s U.S. Regulated Water business. Your leadership ensures that field teams and contractors have the right materials—exactly when they need them—to keep our communities’ water systems operating safely, reliably, and sustainably.

What you’d be responsible for

  • Oversee warehousing and inventory operations across 10 regulated facilities in Arizona and New Mexico, ensuring compliance with SLAs, policies, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead staff performance management, workforce planning, coaching, accountability, and development of highperforming teams.
  • Coordinate services with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and identifying opportunities using datadriven, industrystandard practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain common standards, governance, processes, and procedures for warehousing and inventory operations.
  • Lead execution of recommendations from major U.S. inventory improvement initiatives and drive continuous improvement across all sites.
  • Contribute to the annual operational plan, including identifying priorities, anticipating challenges, defining required resources, and monitoring execution.
  • Ensure effective, efficient, and safe service delivery by identifying process improvements, managing change readiness, and executing change management plans.
  • Align team deliverables with organizational objectives, remove roadblocks, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Provide technical expertise to support decisionmaking and collaborate crossfunctionally to resolve operational issues.
  • Develop and track performance metrics (e.g., cycle count accuracy, material issues, receiving lines, app usage, inventory value, inventory turns) to drive operational excellence.
  • Partner with North American peers to establish inventory guidelines, replenishment parameters, surplus/obsolete review processes, and performance reporting.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor budgets for warehousing, inventory operations, vendormanaged inventory, lowvalue inventory, and equipment/fleet accessories; provide variance analysis and develop business cases as needed.
  • Manage and mitigate supply chain risks through appropriate controls and oversight.
  • Support asset disposition activities and ensure proper governance of related processes.

What’s required to be successful

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field; SCM designation an asset.
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience with focus on warehousing and/or inventory management, including 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong supply chain leadership background with exposure to inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, and yard operations; experience in a unionized and regulated utility environment.
  • Proficient in warehousing operations, inventory best practices, and ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite); advanced Excel, project management, and Oracle BI/Ivara skills considered assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, delegate effectively, coach teams, and hold staff accountable.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, business case development, and strategic analysis.
  • Ability to align service delivery with internal customer needs and support business unit strategic plans.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
